The first week in May 2004 was Market Towns Week This includes Mayfayres Day on Monday 3rd May, maypoles, markets and much more. Sleaford is one of 15 East Midlands Towns chosen to pilot this project, which it is hoped will turn into an annual celebration of the importance of Market Towns
